Ledgers

A separate ledger for every trip, event or project.

A weekend getaway or a home renovation should not be mixed into your everyday spending. SmartWalt Ledgers give each one its own spending total, balance and progress bar.

  • Spent versus set aside, with a progress bar
  • Active, Completed and Archived views
  • Combined balance across active ledgers

How it works

Set an amount aside and track what you spend

Create a ledger for anything you want to keep apart from your everyday budget, such as a trip, a dinner with friends or a renovation.

  1. 1Open Plan, choose Ledgers and tap New ledger.
  2. 2Name it and set aside an amount.
  3. 3Record spending against it. The balance and progress bar update.
Keep it tidy

Finish a ledger without cluttering your budget

Filter ledgers by All, Active, Completed or Archived. Mark a finished trip or project as completed, then archive it when you no longer need it on screen.

Ledgers and budgets

Your monthly budget stays clean

Your monthly budget and category limits cover everyday life. Ledgers cover the one-off costs, so a big trip does not wreck the month's numbers.
