Six commitments we make to every SmartWalt user.
SmartWalt is architecturally designed to work without bank access. We never request, store, or transmit your bank credentials. You track expenses by voice, receipt scan, or manual entry — your bank stays completely out of the picture.
All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3, the same standards used by banks, healthcare providers, and government agencies. SmartWalt runs on AWS infrastructure, which holds the highest security certifications available.
SmartWalt is a software company. Our revenue comes from subscriptions, not from selling your financial data to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties. Your spending patterns, income data, and financial goals are never shared or monetized.
You own your data. Export everything in a standard format at any time. Delete your account and all associated data permanently with a single tap. We do not retain backup copies after deletion.
When you use Voice Spend or Snap Receipt, the audio recording and receipt image are processed to extract the expense details, then immediately and permanently discarded. We never store raw audio or images.
We believe you should know exactly how your data is handled. Our privacy policy is written in plain English, not legal jargon. We notify users of any material changes before they take effect.
Most finance apps require bank linking and monetize your data. SmartWalt doesn't.
